Adrián Padilla never let the Beavers get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Deer to a 3-0 win. Sheridan reliever Salvador Rangel picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Manny Burgos absorbed the loss. Phil Soto earned the save, his 4th.

Corey Ollerton came through for Sheridan with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The catcher went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
