Elephants Topple Deer with Late Rally
The Gibtown Elephants eked out a 6-5 win versus the Sheridan Deer at Wrigley Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Vincent Hubbard, who captured player of the game honors. Gibtown, now 4-1, has played well in the early going.

Carsello Scruggins was the walk-off hero for Gibtown. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Elephants center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"This wasn't a good win," said Scruggins. "It was a great win."
