Clippers Win Again, Extend Streak to 11
The San Diego Clippers picked up a win at Mean Green Ballpark, knocking off the Ogallala Octopi, 4-1. On the mound for San Diego was left-hander Jeff McDermott, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Clippers, at 30-22, have now won 11 straight.

The Clippers had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-1, San Diego, with one out. Ogallala, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Salvador Gisbert dug in at the plate, but on a 0-2 slider, he hit into a double play.
