Clifton Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle
San Diego's Chet Clifton accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game.

For the day, Clifton finished 4-for-5 with 3 RBI and 1 run scored and helped the Clippers knock off the Tulsa Otters 7-0 at Ballpark of Hughesville.

"I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Clifton told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout."

Chet Clifton hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Manuel Ruíz in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

Clifton is hitting .209 so far this season with 15 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 29 hits including 3 home runs, 16 walks and .297 OBP.
