Ogallala Octopi starter Peter Lydell was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Valley View Cougars, 1-0. Lydell, the winner, moves to 2-2. He threw 5.2 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. Getting the save was Ye-qing Tsai, his 1st.
