The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople picked up a win at Corpus Christi Grounds, knocking off the Valley View Cougars, 4-3. Starting pitcher Jim Thurman was an essential part of his team's success. Ellesmere Island reliever George Kipcak was credited with the win, to go to 1-4. Chris Ash took the loss for Valley View. Ellesmere Island occupies 7th place in the Premier R at 17-18.

Late in the game, left fielder Jacques Viceronte had a big at-bat for Ellesmere Island. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring double off Chris Ash. The play gave the Snowpeople a 4-3 lead.

Viceronte attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
