Capital Hill Interns starter António Rodríguez was in fine form against the Fort Knox Centennial at Ballpark of Baxter, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Steve Jackson recorded the save for Capital Hill, his 5th of the season. Capital Hill has now won 4 games in a row.
The Interns got a big at-bat from shortstop John Fitzgerald. For the game, Fitzgerald went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Capital Hill a 3-0 lead.
