Clippers Topple Centennial with Late Rally
The San Diego Clippers downed the Fort Knox Centennial, 7-6, at Ballpark of Baxter. Bill O'Halloran led the way, going 1-for-3 for San Diego. San Diego reliever Miguel Rodríguez picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. José Alfaro was collared with the loss. The win pushes San Diego to a record of 10-7.

It could have been a different outcome for San Diego, had it not been for Sze Qi, the 18-year old shortstop . Qi contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the eighth inning to put San Diego up, 7-6.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," O'Halloran told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
