The Tulsa Otters powered past the Ogallala Octopi, 8-7, at Nebraska Aquarium. Jim Schroeder was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. Tom Lee, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The Octopi, now 9-5, continue their slow start.

The most important at-bat for Tulsa came in the top of the ninth inning, when left fielder Roberto Rivera stroked a 0-1 fastball to right for a run-scoring single, putting Tulsa up, 8-7.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Rivera. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
