Dominant Performance by McDermott in San Diego Win
The San Diego Clippers went home winners at Alouettes Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Jeff McDermott. McDermott silenced the Capital Hill Interns, enabling San Diego to grab the 2-0 win. San Diego, now 5-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.

McDermott was in the zone all game. He frustrated Capital Hill hitters while giving the Clippers 8.1 innings of quality work. McDermott threw 98 pitches, allowing 7 hits and getting 7 punchouts.
