Cougars Win at Tulsa, 4-1
|
Valley View Cougars starter Domingo Llacer was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Tulsa Otters, 4-1. Valley View has a record of 1-1.
Valley View used the timely hitting of Ricardo Yates to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cougars on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I thought we played a nice game," Llacer told the Valley View News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
