Centennial Suffer 4-0 Loss to Octopi
|
The Ogallala Octopi satisfied the home crowd at Nebraska Aquarium, treating them to a season-opening win, 4-0, over the Fort Knox Centennial. Starting Pitcher David Maxwell was named player of the game for Ogallala.
Alejandro Cantú's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Ogallala. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Ogallala leading 1-0, the third baseman got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
"I really like what we did out there today," Cantú said after the game.
