Chicago played host to Mancelona at the friendly confines of Ramblers Ballpark.
The Chicago Tula did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Mancelona Torch at Ramblers Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Shaun Stroud, who captured player of the game honors. Chicago, at 34-49, occupies 8th place in the Premier A.
The Tula were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when first baseman Tae-wan Kim turned a 1-1 fastball from Marty McFly into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Chicago a thrilling 3-2 win.
"It was a good effort all around," said Kim.
