Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Generals
Washington rode a good effort from starter Bryan White to beat the Galesburg Guzzlers at Washington Park. The final score was 3-2. Milton Mathews picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-3. Zach Pae was tagged with the loss. Washington, at 25-33, sits in 7th place in the Premier A.

Dale Clark was the walk-off hero for Washington. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Generals pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

White said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
