Tula Throttle Blue Sox, 6-1
|
Chicago turned a good effort from starter Kent Randall into a win over the Valley Blue Sox at The Heron Refuge. The final score was 6-1. Chicago is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 7th in 18 games.
In the top of the sixth inning, left fielder Román Sánchez came through big-time for the Tula. With Chicago leading 1-0, he belted a grand slam home run.
"I really like what we did out there today," Randall said after the game.
