Chiefs Lose, 6-3, at York Park

The York Revolution stopped the Connetquot Chiefs, 6-3, behind an impressive performance from Augusto Trejo. The 22-year old second baseman made life miserable for Connetquot pitching. He slugged 2 home runs. Rainer Polonius was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. Júlio Antunez earned his 4th save in 5 chances.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning. Facing Connetquot hurler David Perkins, Michael Carter, who is tied for 5th in the SA in stolen bases with 16, drew a walk. The Revolution went on to win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Carter told the York Gazette.
The Chiefs, now 30-66, have lost 4 in a row.
