MacOmish Rips Gwinnett County for 6 Hits
Jack MacOmish put on a hitting clinic today as the York Revolution dumped the Gwinnett County Black Cats 14-4 at Pipers Ballpark.

The York center fielder made Gwinnett County defenders earn their pay, lashing Gwinnett County pitching for 6 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," MacOmish said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Jack MacOmish doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

This year MacOmish has collected a .262 batting average to date with 73 hits in 279 at-bats, 38 RBIs, 4 home runs and scored 42 times. He has played in 78 games.
