A 3-RBI performance from first baseman Jeff Reed, who is tied for 5th in the SA in runs scored with 45, led the Yellowknife Dragonblood to a 11-6 win over the Nebraska Plainsmen. Yellowknife reliever Chris Douglas was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Alfredo Sosa. Yellowknife is 50-26 and Nebraska, with the loss, 33-43.

Reed had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Kasim Amid, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Dragonblood a 5-4 lead. It was the 98th hit of the year for Reed.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Andha Gangulee said.
