Late Rally by Revolution Secures Win
The York Revolution had to overcome a big game from Syracuse third baseman Franck Kooijmans to leave York Park with a 3-2 victory. Kooijmans was 4-4 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Ewan Atwood picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Donnie Rawling was tagged with the loss. York is now 28-27.

The game was at a stalemate until designated hitter Eric Thomas came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Syracuse pitcher Donnie Rawling, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting York on top, 3-2.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Thomas told the York Gazette.
