Yellowknife center fielder Jeff Reed was instrumental in his team's 12-9 win over the Niagara Falls Expos. Reed, who is tied for 4th in the SA in extra base hits with 21, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Dragonblood. Sergio Gallegos was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 3 hits, with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts. Earning his 4th save of the year was Billy Sipple.

The Dragonblood got a big at-bat from second baseman Leonard Carroll. For the game, Carroll was 3-5 with a triple and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
