Late Rally by Expos Secures Win
|
The Expos had to overcome a good performance from Syracuse pitcher Ken French to claim a 5-4 win at Waterfall Park. French went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Niagara Falls occupies 7th place in the Silver A at 16-18.
Dale Doney was the walk-off hero for Niagara Falls. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Expos catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Exhilarating win," said Doney.
