Expos Prevail, 2-0, Over Gwinnett County
|
The Niagara Falls Expos got a stellar performance from pitcher Tung-chi Ran, who handcuffed the Gwinnett County offense en route to a 2-0 win at Pipers Ballpark. Nino Ghannam earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 7th of the year. Niagara Falls has now won 3 straight, while the Black Cats have lost 3 in a row.
Early in the game, third baseman Qi-chao Di had a solo home run for Niagara Falls. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Expos on top, 1-0.
"The old adage is true," said Di. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
