Expos Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Niagara Falls Expos topped the Nebraska Plainsmen by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Chrysler Rodriguez. Rodriguez was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Expos. Nino Ghannam closed the game out for Niagara Falls, earning his 4th save. The Plainsmen, now 9-6, continue their sluggish start.
The Expos got a big at-bat from left fielder Julian Rodney. For the game, Rodney went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Niagara Falls a 6-4 lead.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Rodriguez told the Niagara Falls Bulletin.
