|
Hogsmeade turned a good effort from starter Dave McAlear into a win over the Mt. Vernon Bulls at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon. The final score was 6-2. In 7 innings, McAlear surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Mt. Vernon has now lost 4 straight.
Jimmy Robinson chipped in for Hogsmeade, stroking a crucial bases-clearing triple in the top of the first inning. For the game, the right fielder went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.
