Chukars Continue Skid Thanks to Burt, River Rats
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old first baseman Brian Burt, the Columbia River Rats stopped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 7-0. Pat Inman got the win, improving to 4-2. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 4 hits and no runs, while striking out 12 and walking 1. The Chukars, now 16-48, have lost 6 in a row.

Burt had a key at-bat for Columbia early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 18th double of the season and gave Columbia an early 2-0 lead.
