D.C. reliever Dale Kurth picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Ricardo García was saddled with the loss. Roberto Silva, credited with the save, is now 27 for 30 in save opportunities.
Ken Bone, who is tied for 7th in the PL in hits with 126, aided the D.C. cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4.
"Enjoyed this one," Bone told the D.C. Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
