The Columbia River Rats defeated the Alameda Airmen, 4-3, in M3L Single A action at Columbia Stadium, with Columbia third baseman Don Skerrett named player of the game. Columbia is now 21-16.

Skerrett had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The River Rats went on to win.

"I felt good up there," said Skerrett. "I saw the ball well."
