Late Rally by Caterpillars Secures Win
|
The Grand Forks Caterpillars got a stellar performance from pitcher Taylor Geldard, who handcuffed the Columbia offense en route to a 1-0 win at The Cocoon. Grand Forks is now 19-12.
Blythe Plumpley was the walk-off hero for Grand Forks. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Caterpillars catcher hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Geldard.
