Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Don Skerrett, the Columbia River Rats defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks, 6-3. Skerrett was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the River Rats. Larry Duille, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.2 innings.
