Airmen Top Chukars, 3-1
|
The Alameda Airmen got a stellar performance from pitcher Santiago Rivera, who handcuffed the Idaho Falls offense en route to a 3-1 win at Idaho Falls Park. James McNeil finished the game for Alameda and earned his 2nd save. The win gives the Airmen a record of 7-7.
In the top of the third inning, designated hitter Gang Jing had a key at-bat for the Airmen. With Alameda leading 1-0, he banged a solo home run.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Jing.
