Reno rode a decent outing from starter Dale Snider to victory over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Tennille Grounds. The final score was 4-2. The Silver Sox have now won 4 straight.

In the bottom of the third, Armando Romero hit a 2-run home run for Reno. The 9th home run of the season for the Reno third baseman put the Silver Sox on top, 2-1.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Snider told the Reno Herald.
