Fur Traders Win at Chesapeake, 5-2
|
Tacoma beat Chesapeake on the strength of starter Aiden Dubhghall's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Dubhghall picked up the win for Tacoma, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-6. Jeffrey Chesser, credited with the save, is now 21 for 21 in save opportunities.
Sinclair Bothof helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run home run to give Tacoma a 2-0 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Bothof.
Tacoma, at 35-37, sits in 6th place in the Premier AA.
