Minnesota withstood an impressive performance by Reno designated hitter Jean Lechuga to defeat the Silver Sox, 6-5, at Tennille Grounds. Lechuga was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Minnesota starter Ángel Flores was credited with the win after throwing 91 pitches over 6.1 innings.
