Ghosts Fall Short, 3-2, at Mercer Island
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and the Casper Ghosts, Dan Taylor was the difference-maker. The Mercer Island right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. Tim Nesheim picked up the save for Mercer Island, his 5th of the year. Mercer Island is now 36-23, while Casper is 28-31.
Early in the game, shortstop Ed Bowers had a run-scoring single for Mercer Island. It was his 62nd hit of the season and put the Screaming Eagles on top, 3-2.
