Fur Traders Win at Springfield, 6-5
|
Both teams had their chances, but the Tacoma Fur Traders eventually prevailed at Springfield Stadium.
The Tacoma Fur Traders eked out a 6-5 win versus the Springfield Shooters at Springfield Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Aiden Dubhghall, who captured player of the game honors. Tacoma is now 25-28.
Sinclair Bothof, who is rated as the 87th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Tacoma with a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dubhghall told the Tacoma Daily News.
