Atlantic City starter Ron Fernández pitched effectively against the Minnesota Loons at Sonics Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Doppo Omikado earned the save for Atlantic City, his 1st of the year. Atlantic City is now riding a 3-game win streak.

António Casas, who is tied for 9th in the PAA in triples with 2, helped out the Atlantic City cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Casas. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
