Love Boats Get Close Win Over Continentals

The Heron Field faithful were treated to a dramatic, walk-off win.
Lake Minnetonka right fielder Juan Ramírez was a significant contributor in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Chesapeake Continentals. He went 1-2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Lake Minnetonka. Chesapeake has now lost 4 in a row.
The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Lake Minnetonka trailing 4-3, Ramírez hit a curveball from Tom King for a grand slam home run. Just like that, the Love Boats had a walk-off win.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Ramírez told the Lake Minnetonka Herald.
