Flamingos Stumble, Lose to Evergreens
The Portland Evergreens powered past the Las Vegas Flamingos, 14-4, at The Strip. Billy Dotson slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Giovanni Mireles picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-4. He struck out 3 in 6.1 innings. Portland currently is in first place in the Premier League at 52-38.

Dotson had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Evergreens went on to win.

"We'll savor this win," Dotson told the Portland Today, "then get ready for the next game."
