Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old center fielder Su-wu Xiao, the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes stopped the Calgary Lynx, 14-1. Gustavo Pérez, the winner, improved to 10-8. He held the Lynx to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 4. The first-place Golden Cranes have a one-game lead in their division.
