Pawnee used a superb performance from starting pitcher Bill Oulton to down the Jersey City Tritons, 5-1. Oulton, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 6 walks. Daniel Ryan closed it out for his 1st save.

Pawnee shortstop Chad Silander contributed to the cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. For the game, Silander was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs.
