Big Day for Tullo as Fighting Dachsunds Down Golden Cranes, 8-1

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Ted Tullo, the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds defeated the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 8-1. Tullo was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Fighting Dachsunds. James Bennett was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts. Ellenburg, at 25-20, occupies third place in the Premier AAA.
The Fighting Dachsunds got a gift in the bottom of the third inning. With the game was tied, 1-1, Andrew Cantrell reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-1, Ellenburg.
