It was a fun time at Lynx Stadium, where the Bakersfield Nobles and Calgary Lynx tangled.
Starting pitcher Xiao-shuang Wong pitched well enough to help the Calgary Lynx beat the Bakersfield Nobles by the score of 8-4. Wong went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-1.
Júlio Vargas, who is tied for 9th in the PAAA with a .485 slugging percentage, contributed to the Calgary win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
