Victory Over Tritons Takes Scranton to 12-7
Scranton starter Kent Horton had a strong outing against the Jersey City Tritons at Nuclear Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-2 win. Horton went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 4-0. The Supernovas raised their record to 12-7.

In the bottom of the third, Rafael Sánchez hit a run-scoring double for Scranton. The 1st double of the season for the Scranton right fielder put the Supernovas on top, 2-1.
