Scranton second baseman Augusto Escobar played a vital role in his team's 6-3 triumph over Bakersfield. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Scranton. The win moves Scranton to a record of 9-7.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when shortstop Hai-feng Tang, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA with a .559 slugging percentage, hit a sacrifice fly. The Supernovas went on to win.
