Enríquez Helps Dragoons Run Win Streak to 7
|
The Louisiana Dragoons extended their winning streak at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium.
A 5-RBI performance from the 23-year old third baseman Francisco Enríquez helped the Louisiana Dragoons beat the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 6-1. Paul Garrison got credit for the save for Louisiana. It was his 1st of the year.
Enríquez had a key at-bat for Louisiana early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Louisiana an early 2-0 lead.
"This team is real focused right now," said Louisiana manager Santiago Vargas.
The Dragoons, now 9-2, have stormed out of the gates.
