Boston used a superb performance from starting pitcher Aurelio López to down the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 4-0. López, the winner, moves to 6-2. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 1 walk. The Patriots saw their record improve to 47-33.

Tied up with the Grey Wolves in the top of the fourth inning, the Patriots got a boost from first baseman Jorge Alejándrez. With a runner on 1st, Alejándrez saw a first pitch fastball from Miguel López and hit a 2-run home run to break the stalemate and put Boston on top, 2-0.

"Aurelio is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Boston manager Tyler Carter.
