The Westwood Sixshooters beat the Ottawa Nationals, 16-4, at Sixshooters Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Oki Hai, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Today's win puts Westwood at 49-42, while Ottawa falls to 25-66.

José Tirado's at-bat in the bottom of the third was significant for the Sixshooters. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Westwood leading 3-2, the left fielder got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Westwood manager Rubén Ramírez.
