Thunder Hawks Turn Back Salem, 4-2

It was a good time at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Salem Misfits and Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks get after it.
Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks starter Ratko Davidovic was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Salem Misfits, 4-2. Davidovic went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-0. Delano Turnipseed converted his 8th save in 11 tries.
The Thunder Hawks got a big at-bat from right fielder Augusto Reyes. For the game, Reyes was 2-4 with 2 home runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 20th home run of the season gave Ft. Polk South a 3-2 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Reyes told the Ft. Polk South Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The Thunder Hawks own a robust 55-31 mark.
