BC Shut Out Rails
|
It was a fun time at San Antonio Field, where the Richland Rails and San Antonio BC tangled.
The San Antonio BC got a strong performance from pitcher Abdul-Nasir Rabah, who stymied the Richland offense en route to a 4-0 win at San Antonio Field. The Rails, now 26-59, have lost 6 in a row.
Alfonso Torres was a key contributor to the win for the BC. In the bottom of the third with no one out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a double to left-center. He was 1-3 with a double and a walk.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Rabah told reporters after the game.
