Nationals Continue Skid Thanks to Larate, Thunder Hawks
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks easily defeated the Ottawa Nationals, 15-4, at Nationals Park, with center fielder Pedro Larate a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Ft. Polk South. The losses continue to mount for Ottawa, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Larate had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the third, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Thunder Hawks went on to win.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Ft. Polk South manager Mark Harrison.
